Water Wheel Kit

Our Water Wheel kits are made from Western Red Cedar. The cedar will last years without having to be treated. All metal hardware is nickel plated to prevent rust. The wheel is mounted on a solid 5/8" or 3/4" diameter steel shaft with flange bearings for smooth operation. Bearings have a lubrication fitting. The wheel comes as a kit that is easily assembled in approximately 30 to 45 minutes. The joints for this wheel have been designed to be interlocking. The Hex bolts hand screw into threaded inserts, making the assembly simple using only a wrench to tighten them at the end.

Mill Building Kit

The Mill Building is a 1/4 scale replica of a 19th century Mill House. It is made from Western Red Cedar and exterior grade plywood. The roof lifts off for access to the plumbing that supplies water to the trough for the Water Wheel. The plumbing is supplied for easy connection to your ponds pump and a bypass pipe. Valves are included for regulating the amount of water that goes to the Water Wheel, thus regulating the speed that it turns. The Water Wheel may be mounted on the left or right of the building. The building comes as a kit that is easily assembled in approximately 30 to 45 minutes.

A Custom Engraved Sign for the building (i.e. "Jones Creek Mill"), can be added to the purchase. It is one line of text, up to 16 characters, including spaces. The standard sign is "Ye Old Mill".
